Happy Easter!

Wishing a joyful and peaceful Easter to all who celebrate. Please note that our office will be closed on Good Friday, April 18. We hope you enjoy the holiday with your loved ones!

** April is Stress Awareness Month

------------------------------------------------------------

April is recognized as Stress Awareness Month, a time to highlight the impact of stress on our health and well-being. Chronic stress can contribute to heart disease, obesity, anxiety, and other health conditions. Simple strategies like mindfulness, regular exercise, and prioritizing sleep can help manage stress. Visit Stress.org for more resources on reducing stress.

** DEA National Prescription Drug Take Back Day – April 27

------------------------------------------------------------

Do you have unused or expired medications? Safely dispose of them on April 27 during the DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. Proper disposal helps prevent misuse and protects the environment. Find a local drop-off site at www.dea.gov/takebackday.

** Important Updates on Semaglutide & Tirzepatide Compounding

------------------------------------------------------------

Recent FDA regulations have impacted the availability of compounded semaglutide [Ozempic/Wegovy] and tirzepatide [Mounjaro/Zepbound]. Many online prescribers claim to offer compounded versions, but not all are compliant with safety standards. Be cautious when purchasing from online sources. If you have questions about compounded medications and what this means for you, consult with our team at Total Family Wellness.

** Regenerative Medicine at Total Family Wellness

------------------------------------------------------------

Regenerative medicine is the field of medicine interested in helping the body heal itself naturally through the use of biologic substances and growth factors. These substances and growth factors are found in your own blood. Because of this, there is no risk of allergic reaction and low risk of significant negative side effects. You may have heard your favorite celebrity or athlete talking about PRP treatments. Now they are available to you! Using ultrasound guidance, our board-certified sports medicine doctor, Dr. Renelus-Marshall, will make sure the treatment reaches the targeted area. These treatments can be a great alternative to steroid injections and can help manage symptoms to postpone the need for surgery. Though results vary, your doctor can help you decide which regenerative medicine therapies are right for you. We can treat:

• Knee osteoarthritis

• Rotator cuff problems

• Tennis elbow

• Golfer’s elbow

• Plantar fasciitis

• Various types of tendinitis and bursitis

• And more…

** Special Offer for April: Cellutone Treatment Package
------------------------------------------------------------

Looking for smoother, firmer skin? Our Cellutone package is now available—6 treatments for just $900 (regularly $1,200)! This non-invasive treatment helps improve skin tone and texture with targeted vibration therapy. Limited-time offer, so book your sessions today!
